How to create a romantic date

Part of being in a relationship comes down to your ability to romance your partner once and awhile. Creating a romantic date shows your partner that they mean something to you and you want to show them that you have made time for them in your life. If you really want to leave an impression upon your loved one, here are some tips on how you can create a romantic date:
Tip # 1 - Romantic Dinner
When you think of romance, most people automatically think of a candlelit dinner, some wine, and classical music. Preparing a romantic dinner is a great way to spark the fire between you and your loved one, but the key lies in your ability to make the dinner romantic. You can take your loved one out to a romantic dinner, but if you really want to impress them, make a homemade romantic dinner. Make this dinner completely different from any other date your loved one has been on. A romantic dinner by the fire is a great way to romance your loved one. A picnic at the beach or in the park is another great way to change up the traditional romantic dinner. Don't forget to bring candles and roses along for the journey.
Tip # 2 - Dancing
Surprise your loved one with your dance moves. Slow dancing is a wonderful way to romance your date. Light up your house with some candles or dim lights and put on some classical music or love songs. Dress in your finest clothing and get ready to surprise your loved one when they return home. Top off the evening with a glass of wine along with some hors d'oeuvres.
Tip # 3 - Romantic Movie
Nothing says romance more than a sappy romantic movie. While this may not be your idea of a perfect evening, your wife or girlfriend will love it. Pick out a few different romantic movies to watch and make a picnic in front of the television and curl up together.
Need some movie tips? Here are some great love stories:

- The Notebook
- Sleepless in Seattle
- That Touch of Mink
- Pillow Talk
- Meet Joe Black
If your wife or girlfriend isn't into the sappy romantic movies, choose a romantic comedy. Laughing together is a great way to bring the two of you closer together. Here are a few romantic comedies you will both enjoy:
- How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
- The Princess Bride
- Pretty Woman
- When Harry Met Sally
- Hitch
- The Proposal
Tip # 4 - Play
Instead of trying so hard to romance your partner, surprise them with an afternoon of fun. Head to a carnival, surprise them with tickets to a baseball game, plan a date to a theme park. Playing together is a wonderful way to strengthen your bond with one another and it will certainly show your partner that you absolutely love spending time with them. Grab some board games and spend a night in front of the fireplace playing fun games.
Tip # 5 - Talk
Turn off the television and completely focus on your partner. Grab some hot chocolate and then roast some marshmallows and just sit together and have a conversation. Compliment your loved one often and it's a simple way to romance your loved one quickly. Be sincere with the compliments you are handing out and make sure you caress your partner's hand, legs, back, and kiss them softly. Just make sure you aren't doing all of the talking and give your partner enough time to talk as well while you focus hard on listening to them.
