If you are not aware of any job openings, you can simply state that you admire the work the company does and you feel you have some skills to bring to the company that will help it grow and obtain its mission. This paragraph must demonstrate your excitement about the job opening and your desire to fill the position. You must spark interest in the reader and make them want to contact you.

The second paragraph will include your personal information. This paragraph will provide the reader with your experience and qualifications. You need to point out specific aspects of your resume, without repeating your resume. This paragraph will also discuss how your knowledge and work-experience can benefit the company in some way. If you have a portfolio of your work, you can offer to send that to the employer in this paragraph. The employer will want to know how you can conquer challenges and obstacles in this paragraph.
